Giclee prints, commonly pronounced “jhee-clay,” is a an archival, museum grade, fine art print on canvas or fine art paper using ink-jet and digital methods. Unlike standard mass produced prints, giclee prints are made one at a time using the same pigmented inks found in original paintings. Giclee prints react to light the same way an original painting would and are proven to last up to 100 years without any noticeable change. For this reason and many others, the collectibility and investment value is higher than non-archival mass produced prints.
Your artwork is printed immediately after payment is received. You can expect a turnaround time of 3-5 days for clothing and premium posters, 7-10 days for metal prints and museum prints. Our giclee prints require extra special attention from the artist to inspect and finalize. If you have any questions about your order, please contact us and we will respond as soon as possible.
Museum prints are tightly secured and safely rolled into heavy duty eco friendly tubes that are virtually indestructible. Rolled artwork is much safer and cheaper to ship than mounted or framed artwork. We absolutely love knowing the artwork arrives perfectly safe and in the same pristine condition as when it was shipped out. We make sure your metal prints are just as safe in transit. A super heavy duty wooden crate is custom built and designed so your metal print floats perfectly in the middle while surrounded by thick foam padding.
When you buy a Limited Edition Print, you are investing in a rare and extremely collectible piece of artwork. Limited Edition Prints are a set number of prints that are created in a specific size and medium. Each limited edition print is individually hand signed and numbered. For example, an artwork labeled “1/100” means that it is the first of one hundred prints to be created in that size and medium. As time passes, the value of limited edition prints rise due to selling out and becoming less available.
An artist proof is an extremely rare print and is not included in the count of a limited edition set. This factor alone makes them even more valuable than a limited edition print. To retain the valuable worth of these select artworks I am only offering 10 artist proofs, per artwork. All artists proofs are signed, numbered and marked A.P. (artist proof) on the back side of the print. Please contact me for artist proof availability.
